La Asomada

Above Mácher and the highway from Arrecife to Yaiza the scattered settlement La Asomada is located on a hillside.

This village offers a fantastic view of Puerto del Carmen and Fuerteventura on the other side of the Ocean.

If you go up at the large roundabout in Mácher towards the wine-growing area of La Geria, La Asomada extends to the left and right of the main road.

La Asomada is a small, original, typical village with a small church and community centre / Sociedad.

The buildings in La Asomada are not very close to each other, so that the holiday homes and apartments guarantee mostly privacy.

The proximity to Puerto del Carmen or the marina Puerto Calero makes the place particularly attractive.

Away from large tourist streams, the guests live individually and yet centrally. Shopping centres, beaches and nightlife are only 10 minutes away by car.

For tours over the island La Asomada is an ideal starting point.

The "wine region" La Geria with a multiplicity of Bodegas and footpaths in unique landscape is attainable in 10 minutes.

Somewhat above, on the mountain cone Tinasoria, there is a starting point for hang-gliders.

The distance to the next big shopping possibility (Eurospar) is about 2 km and to Puerto del Carmen with sandy beaches also about 6 km.

The airport of Arrecife can be reached in just 10 minutes, but there is never any aircraft noise.

The new golf course which opened in 2008 Puerto del Carmen is only 10 minutes away from this holiday flat. The older golf course in Costa Teguise can be reached in approximately 20 minutes.
