    What amazing property, the views across the mountains are stunning. The owner and the agent were brilliant thoughout , couldn’t have asked for better communication, if you want to get away from the tourist trap, this villa and Teguise is for you

  2. fantastic house in a great , quiet location

    we really enjoyed this spacious and very ,nicely decorated house. The heated swimming pool was the main attraction for our kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is fully equipped and has plenty of space. We loved the patio. We explored the whole island from this location, with Playa Blance being the furthest away, but still not more than one hour drive. Only downside : we missed a bit of information on the tourist attractions of the island and the practical places (like bakery and grocery store). The lovely owner came and visited us and told us where to go, but as she didn't really speak English, google translate had to be called to the rescue. Having something in English on paper would have been easier, but that's rea We absolutely recommend this house and if we go back to Lanzarote, we won't look any further : we'll book this house again without hesitation.

    I totally recommend it! Very lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Nice pool and outdoor area. Big kitchen and cosy tv corner with good WiFi.

  5. Excellent Villa - Highly Recommended

    Large, spacious and clean villa with all facilities you need. Large outdoor space - excellent sun trap, clean pool. Only a short drive to the beach, restaurants etc. We live in Lanzarote and have stayed in villas all over the island and this one ticks all the boxes and is by far the best one we have stayed in.

  6. Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen

    Die Villa El Mojon ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen. Sie liegt ruhig an einer kaum befahrenen Stichstraße. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Eine Freude ist das toll gestaltete Atrium. Es gibt viele gute Möglichkeiten, abends geschützt und bequem draußen zu sitzen (das ist uns immer wichtig). Die nebenan wohnende Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Danke für die leckeren Begrüßungsgeschenke! Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

    Eine sehr schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete und gepflegte Villa in sehr ruhiger Lage und etwas abgelegen. Gut zum Erholen. Sie lebt von ihrer großartigen Besitzerin und ihrer Tochter. Jederzeit hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Man braucht dort unbedingt ein Auto, aber das weiß man, wenn man das Haus bucht.

    Man ist gewillt zu glauben, man wäre im Paradies gelandet. Ist aber nur 13 Kilometer von Costa Teguise entfernt. Und da tobt das Touristenleben. Es gibt aber schöne Lokalitäten dort ...

  11. Bonnes vacances en famille

    Nous avons passé une semaine en famille fin janvier dans la maison El Mojon. La maison est spacieuse et agréable, la cuisine bien équipée. La terrasse ensoleillée est appréciable le matin. La propriétaire Yoana, très gentille, nous a accueilli avec un bon gâteau. Elle vit à côté de la maison (mais travaille la journée). Le contact s'est très bien passé avec l'agence qui faisait le lien en français avec la propriétaire. Un fascicule explicatif de la maison (fonctionnement de la cheminée, de la chaudière etc.) serait bienvenu.

    Grosszügiges Haus. Sehr sauber. Mit viel Herz von der Besitzerin eingerichtet. Sie selber wohnt nebenan - ist eine tolle, herzliche Frau! Pool super sauber... im Garten ist kein Blatt am falschen Ort. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Haus. Es war toll!

    Superb place to stay. The villa is well kitted out for a relaxing and peaceful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Far enough from the madding crowd but still easily reachable if you want it. We hope to return very soon. Any problems are soon sorted by the villa team.

  14. A lovely home with a pool but a car is essential

    I booked this villa at the last minute never having been to the island and not knowing the area. We wanted to be away from the full English breakfast and have a taste of the real lanzarote. We were not disappointed. The house is lovely and well thought out with nice little touches. It was cool with a breeze keeping it that way although had to use a towel to stop doors slamming as it was a windy week. The pool is nice and private. The only issue we had was the electricity kept tripping out while we were cooking which was fine but as owners cottage next door housed the trip switch we were lucky they were in at the time. The villa is pretty much in the middle of the island 5km from Teguise which is a beautiful town full of little tapas bars which we loved a not a slice of fried bread in sight!

  15. Wunderschönes Haus, ruhig gelegen, perfekt zum Entspannen

    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist groß, sehr gepflegt und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, mit dem Auto ist man trotzdem in weniger als 30 Minuten am Flughafen. Wir haben viele Ausflüge machen können und nachmittags am Pool entspannen. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

    Great villa perfect for our needs, you do need a car and the closest village is a 10 minute drive for the essentials, restaurants, bars etc. Our host Yoana was very helpful as was Hind in the local office. The pool is not heated as yet but hopefully next year. We look forward to our next visit. Sarah

  17. House in El Mojon

    We have just stayed 10 days in this magnificent house in “El Mojon”. The experience here went beyond my expectations – A great place to stay and quite close to the main places to visit in Lanzarote. The house decoration is great, with huge entrance with a typical Lanzarote garden that made the environment quite nice. A big kitchen and also a very nice living room, all fully equipped. We used the barbecue a couple of times and were swimming in the pool everyday. The house is full of small details of decoration that made every little corner special. This is one of those places which one has to experience once in a lifetime. Sunrise and sunsets are amazing. However if you are one of those tourists that are looking for an all-inclusive experience, surrounded by other tourists in an environment of high prices and international food: this is not your place. This place is more for explorers and for people looking forward to live the authentic Lanzarote experience. You definitely need a car. The location is great because you have access to different places, the closest Teguise (we recommend having breakfast at Jonniebakes artisan and having lunch or dinner in “La Cantina”). Also you can go to the beach (swimming or surf) to Caleta Famara, or visit the great places in the North, recommend “Punta Mujeres”. All those places are within 20 minutes by car. The communication with the host was good whenever we needed it. Summarising the experience: Positives: - Unique place – extraordinary detailed local decoration - Very spacious - Safe - Fully equipped - Excellent value for money - Out of the touristic path Negatives: - A bit isolated, must have a car - No dishwasher
