   We didn’t complain while at the apartment as we wanted to enjoy our holiday but a fair amount of work needs to go into the apartment to make it the perfect holiday stay. Good points: - Generally clean (floors needed some attention). - Nice outdoor area with good furniture & cushions. - Kitchen cupboards were full to bursting of cutlery, crockery and pots/pans. - Perfect location. - Privacy/sunblock screen which could be rolled down at the edge of the terrace if required. - Nice, comfortable sofas. - Comfortable beds. - No bugs in or around apartment. Bad points: - Shower was awful. Water pressure appalling and shower head desperately needs replacing. - One thin pillow on each bed. - No communal BBQ area, as advertised. - Couldn’t use second (nicer) bedroom as bed not made up and all furniture padlocked and marked private. - Light over breakfast bar hanging by a thread from the ceiling and didn’t work. - Batteries in almost everything needed replacing. - Found a folder at the back of a cupboard nearing the end of our stay, detailing instructions/information for the apartment, but it was all in German. - No instructions on how to work the digital TV so had one English Channel. - No plug sockets near beds. - Heavy building work next door with power tools and dust everywhere resulting in lots of noise & in outside area needing daily cleaning. - No communication about check in until we arrived on the Island, which was sent via WhatsApp. Not very helpful when we didn’t yet have WiFi. Resulted in numerous phone calls to obtain keys as wrong information contained in said check in details. Overall the place needs a bit of TLC and a deep clean, which would then make it a really lovely place to stay.

   El apartamento Casa Matiñi es muy acogedor y cómodo. La playa está a 10 minutos andando y el entorno es precioso. Además la propietaria es muy simpática y nos facilitó sin ningún problema la hora de entrada y salida de la casa que a nosotros nos venía bien por los vuelos. Más que recomendable!

   We had a great stay at casa matini it is so peacefull and has a lovely well maintained gardens inside has every thing you need from good crockery to cutlery and easy to use oven and hob also a good washing machine the place was lovely and clean well deserving of 5 stars .

   We really enjoyed our stay, our host David was very attentive and thought the accomodation was lovely. It is only a short stroll to the beach and seafront but still was quiet and peaceful.

    Casa Matini is a nice 2 bedroom apartment located in an excellent position in central PDC, the apartment is spacious on the ground floor with private garden sunbathing. On the down side the apartment did not have a smoke detector which is concerning. The tv has English sky & bt station through internet box & satellite strangely you cannot access BBC or ITV although the channels are available for selection, I would highly recommend the owner has these tuned in. All & all this apartment is great for location and spacious bedrooms for 2 or 4 people. We would return to Casa Matini in the future.

    We absolutely loved the apartment. It was perfect for us and we want to book for my birthday in June!! The only thing I would add is a mirror in each bedroom, sounds extremely vain, but needed in a holiday place. Apart from that, it's brilliant. We'll be in contact. Thanks Ewan & Martina
