  1. Fair description

    The place is a beautiful duplex with two large bedrooms and living area, the pictures reflect exactly what's in the rental unit. Pros:- We were pleasantly surprised to note that there were lots of things provided in the kitchen and bathrooms. The towels are pleanty and good quality, they changed them and the sheets after the first week. You have a washing machine and a dishwasher which is a plus as well. TV with lots of German channels. The place is very close to the beach (2 minutes walk) but there is no shower provided in that area. There are plenty other beaches close-by (5-10 min walk) where you can find a shower as well. Cons:- We had a "visit" from some cockroaches (3 big specimens in total) the first and last evening we were in this rental. Just to make it clear, this was not an infestation, the agent who was in touch with us replied immediately to our messages on WhatsApp and action was taken to deal with the situation. I've heard that you can have this everywhere you go in Lanzarote. The rental does not have air con fact which is made clear when advertised. I would recommend though installing a few units of air con particularly in the bedroom closer to the street and living area. To have the balcony door open is not an option as it makes a lot of noise from the wind moving it and there are mosquitoes getting in. There are fans provided but it s not a good option, it can be very hot sometimes and the mosquitoes are everywhere. This place is part of a complex of residential apartments so you will need to bring your own sunbed and umbrella to the pool. There are 2 wooden sunbeds provided at the rental but they are pretty wobbly so we didn't bother dragging them and the umbrella to the pool, we went to the beach instead.

  3. Excellent facilities in good location.

    This house is very well equipped with good quality appliances, there is pretty much all you would expect to find in a home. The place was spotless on our arrival with a welcome pack of wine, water and a packet of tortilla chips. The location is very good with a number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and is quiet most of the time, although we did hear some entertainment at oneof the nearby bars, but it doesn't go on too late. We used the pool bar at Las Adelfas over the road quite lot as there was not one onsite and there were no sunbeds around the pool in the complex. 1.7 metre high walls in the front give a fair amount of privacy. The double bedroom has a balcony, the only one on that side of the complex, and is good for morning sun. Should we go 4 handed again we would definitely consider this house again.

  5. Trip to Lanzarote

    Lanzarote is an island we know well, this time was a special trip to watch my son take part in his first Ironman event. We wanted to stay somewhere that was local to the Puerto Del Carmen strip and also to our personal favourite area - Matagorda. Casa Playa de Los Pocillos fitted the bill perfectly, it was well equipped in all respects and furnished to a very high standard. All amenities were new and accessible. The views were great, it was a pleasure to stay there. Would highly recommend this apartment.

  6. Spacious, modern, well equipped

    I would recommand this place to everyone. Close to the beach, some restaurants and shops, and equipped with a very private patio where you can sunbathe without being seen!

  8. Nice apartment, only minor issues

    Location and apartment are both very nice. The only minor issue was the poor ventilation in the apartment which caused condensation on the glass roof panels. causing drips in the morning and causing (black) molt on the ceiling underneath the glass roof panel in the bathroom upstairs. I am sure the owner can easily fix this by having the ventilation work which is next to this glass panel. (also the wall was showing a wet spot in the living room) For the rest the kitchen was nice and modern.

    Excellent apartment - very clean and spacious. Lovely shower room. All the facilities you need. Great location across from beach. Loads of lovely restaurants around. I have stayed in this complex before so know the area. Apartment Could have done with some air conditioning as weather was very warm and it was very warm at night. However we were told this was exceptional this October!! Would recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again. I do think it is a bit pricey for the area but would still recommend it!!

    House was in a good location and had a nice sunny sheltered courtyard for sunbathing. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Only small complaint was that the house seemed to have quite poor windows/ sound insulation so wind and traffic noise at night was quite loud

  15. à améliorer ....

    Nous avons passé une semaine à Los Pocillos, plage attachée à la commune de Puerto del Carmen. Quartier calme fourni en petites épiceries et petits restos à 10 min seulement de l'animation très germano-british de Puerto del Carmen. Une longue promenade longe la plage de sable, idéal pour vélo et jogging. Des engins de musculation sont à disposition des promeneurs, petits bars et marchands de glace tout y est .... La plage est immense, on peut y louer transats et parasols (4 €/pièce pour la journée) Règle générale à Lanzarote la population, les commerçants, le personnel sont respectueux et serviables ! La maison : elle est conforme aux photos affichées, située dans une résidence d'une cinquantaine de petits bungalows avec petite piscine commune, endroit paisible et sécurisant. L'intérieur est décoré avec goût, mobilier contemporain (un peu minimaliste) c'est lumineux, les pièces sont grandes. La maison était propre, les lits préparés, le linge de maison abondant et à disposition. Des boissons fraîches nous attendaient dans le frigo, café, thé et quelques produits pour démarrer le séjour (super !) Là où ça coince et où les améliorations sont nécessaires c'est les pépins techniques que nous avons rencontrés : pas le bon code à l'arrivée pour récupérer notre clé dans un coffre (une heure de panique car personne sur place, un dimanche, pas de réponse au numéro reçu ..), machine à laver qui ne fonctionne pas (un technicien est venu réparer très vite et très bien), le congélateur inutilisable (ne ferme pas, la glace accumulée bloque les tiroirs), le micro-ondes pas encastré dont on peut difficilement ouvrir la porte ... A noter que nous avons chaque fois pu compter sur une collègue de Suzanne qui parlait très bien le français (Inge ?) et qui a répondu à chacune de nos attentes avec rapidité. Des soucis de maintenance dont on se passe pendant ses vacances, dommage !

  16. Urlaub

    Dieses Jahr war es nicht so toll, war nicht so sauber wie letztes Jahr. Teppiche mit vielen Flecken, im Wohnzimmer der grosse Flecken an der Wand, ist eigentlich schade weil wäre eine schöne Wohnung. Die letzte Woche war die Aussentüre nicht mehr schliessbar. Haben etliche Male angerufen, aber kam keiner. Die Wohnung ist ja nicht billig, da möchte man dass solche Sachen in Ordnung kommen. Es müsste mal jemand vorbei schauen, da würde man sehen dass vieles nicht in Ordnung ist. Gruss aus der Schweiz U.Schuler

    Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Sehr zentral gelegen - für Langzeitaufenthalter geeignet. Der Fernseher ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

    Wir waren jetzt zum 2. mal in dieser Unterkunft und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach genial , nur die Straße trennt einen vom kilometerlangen Sandstrand.Und auch vom Einkaufsvergnügen und vielen Restaurants unterschiedlicher Nationalitäten ist man nur 5-10 Minuten entfernt. In der gesamten Anlage ist es sehr ruhig , wir fanden wieder die Ruhe , die wir brauchten. 5 Punkte hätten wir gegeben, wenn die Küche besser ausgestattet wäre. Aber da fehlt es doch an vielem. Da wir aber durch Frau Zinn eine gute Betreuerin hatten , werden wir mit ihr über einige Anschaffungen persönlich reden und dann steht einem weiteren Langzeiturlaub von 10 Wochen im kommenden Herbst/Winter nichts im Wege

  20. Haus mit vielen Mängeln

    Bei Ankunft stank das Haus ( Gäste-WC ). Ursache wurde nicht gefunden. Ferner: Rollo im Schlafzimmer und Gästeschlafzimmer defekt, Türgriff zum Balkon total locker, Schlafzimmerfenster mit Alu-Folie abgeklebt ( Angst vor Strahlungen ?? ), Teppiche fleckig und verdreckt, Betten gut, Badezimmer in Ordnung. Die meisten Fehler wurde von Jaime beseitigt, aber Urlaubstage gingen dabei drauf. ES IST UNBEDINGT ERFORDERLICH, DAS EINE KONTROLLE DES HAUSES ODER DER WOHNUNG NACH VERLASSEN DES MIETERS ERFOLGT. Man ist SAUER, wenn man Ankommt und so viele Mängel ( auch wenn sie klein und behebbar sind ), vorfindet. Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle ist besser.
